Anthony Carabelli, Jr
Anthony currently serves as
the Business Advocate for the County of Mercer’s
Office of Economic Development and Sustainability.
He seeks to promote and attract businesses to the
County and encourages the expansion of current
County businesses. Specifically, he orchestrates
seminars and events for the promotion of economic
development within the County. Some of these events
include: the State of the County luncheon, the
Economic Summit at Mercer County Community College
and the Select Greater Philadelphia business
breakfast.
In addition, he manages the Mercer County Loan Fund
which provides loans to small businesses and
start-ups; acts as the Foreign Trade Zone contact
for the Mercer County FTZ; and oversees the Small
Business Development Center and UCEDC consultant
programs – entities that provide business consulting
services throughout the region.
Besides his activities with the County, he serves as
a member of the Georgetown Alumni Interview
Committee, the Small Business Development Center
Advisory Board, the Trenton Small Business Week
Advisory Board, the Mercer County Hispanic
Association Board and the Regional Business
Assistance Corporation Loan Committee.
When he is not working, Anthony enjoys spending time
with his family and cheering on his favorite sports
team.
